Well, we can see that spring is starting to emerge!! The daffs are
poking their way out of the cold ground and are blooming in my garden here in London.
I just got back from Norway this weekend (where snow is everywhere!) where I was leading two workshops with two amazing co-leaders. The workshops focused on overcoming 'either/or' thinking and working with polarity (i.e. opposites) - which as many of my current clients know, I am integrating into my coaching practice. The reception of the audience was very very enthusatic - we have been so pleased to see how
much people want to know more about polarities and how to practically work with polarity in their lives.
I found this beautiful and inspirational quote about polarities which I wanted to share with you all:
'It is the stretched soul that makes music, and souls are stretched by the pull of opposites /opposite bents, tastes, yearnings, loyalties. Where there is no polarity /where energies flow smoothly in onedirection /there will be much doing but no music. - Eric Hoffer
The message of this quote and of polarity work is that in being able to 'be with' the tension of opposites within ourselves (and between ourselves and others) we will be able to create wonderful things and reach that place of wholeness that many of us aspire to.
Myself and my co-leader in the work, Ursula Glunk from the Netherlands will be developing and building on our polarity workshop and plan on taking the workshop to different cities in Europe towards the end of the year. We are also looking to bring this work into companies and organisations as
tailor made in-house organisational development workshops.
We also would love to bring it to Canada (my native land!) and if you have any ideas of venues which may wish to host it - please let me know!
